        कम्मनुदो क्‍लेसनुदो,
        कलिनुदो नुन्‍नमलो;
        सब्बथा अविज्‍जानुदो,
        बुद्धं तं पणमाम्यहं.

        Kammanudo klesanudo,
        Kalinudo nunnamalo;
        Sabbathā avijjānudo,
        Buddhaṃ taṃ paṇamāmyahaṃ.

        I bow to the Buddha,
        Who dispelled all kamma, all afflictions and misfortunes,

        And removed ignorance in every way.
