Verse 109

        वन्तरागो वन्तदोसो,
        वन्तमोहो वन्तमलो;
        वन्तकसावो वन्तीघो,
        बुद्धं तं पणमाम्यहं.
        Vantarāgo vantadoso,
        Vantamoho vantamalo;
        Vantakasāvo vantīgho,
        Buddhaṃ taṃ paṇamāmyahaṃ.
        I bow to the Buddha,
        Who gave up all craving and aversion,
        All delusions and defilements,
        Who left behind all fundamental faults and any influence of evil.


  1. vanta (pp. of vamati) - discharged, given up
  2. malo - defilements
  3. kasāva/kasāya - fundamental faults of rāga, dosa & moha, stain, defect
  4. īgho (abstr. from anīgho) - evil influence
