What, Bhikkhus, is recluseship?

It is this Noble Eightfold Path, which is right view, … right concentration.

This is, Bhikkhus, what is called recluseship.

What, Bhikkhus, is the purpose of recluseship?

It is the destruction of craving, the destruction of ill-will and the destruction of delusion.

This, Bhikkhus, is the purpose of recluseship.”
