Verse 40

वङ्कमुत्तो पङ्कमुत्तो, 
खेदमुत्तो मुत्तखिलो; 
सब्बदा आतङ्कमुत्तो, 
बुद्धं तं पणमाम्यहं.
    
Vaṅkamutto paṅkamutto, 
Khedamutto muttakhilo; 
Sabbadā ātaṅkamutto, 
Buddhaṃ taṃ paṇamāmyahaṃ.
    
I bow to the Buddha,
Who was free from crookedness and dishonesty, 
Free from regrets and stubbornness, 
Always unaffected by torment.
