झानरतो ञाणरतो, धम्मारामो धम्मरतो; अहो! अहो! पारङ्गतो, बुद्धं तं पणमाम्यहं.
Jhānarato ñāṇarato, Dhammārāmo dhammarato; Aho! Aho! Pāraṅgato, Buddhaṃ taṃ paṇamāmyahaṃ.
I bow to the Buddha, Who took delight in practising meditation and in acquiring knowledge, Took pleasure and delight in Dhamma, And who, indeed, for sure, had gone beyond the tribulations of mundane existence.
