3.2.0 Samuddakasuttaṃ - Sown Is the Seed

Samuddakasuttaṃ Sown Is the Seed
“Yādisaṃ vapate bījaṃ,
tādisaṃ harate phalaṃ;
 Just as the seed is sown,
so accordingly will be the fruit;
Kalyāṇakārī kalyāṇaṃ, Merit will ripen for those performing wholesome deeds,
pāpakārī ca pāpakaṃ. Unwholesome states for those performing unwholesome deeds.
Pavuttaṃ tāta te bījaṃ,
phalaṃ paccanubhossasī”ti.
 Sown is the seed by you.
Thus you will enjoy the fruit thereof.
