निक्खीलो चापि निस्सल्‍लो,
निस्सूलो निब्बानरतो;
निप्पमादो निब्बन्धनो,
बुद्धं तं पणमाम्यहं.
Nikkhīlo cāpi nissallo,
Nissūlo nibbānarato;
Nippamādo nibbandhano,
Buddhaṃ taṃ paṇamāmyahaṃ.
I bow to the Buddha,
Entirely without callousness, without darts or stakes,
He took delight in Nibbana,
And was free from indolence and bondage.
