3.1.4 An Exposition of the Noble Eightfold Path 1

This was explained in Savatthi.

“I will teach and analyse for you the Noble Eightfold Path, Bhikkhus, therefore, listen carefully and pay close attention. I will speak.”

“Yes, Bhante,” replied the Bhikkhus to the Bhagavā.

Then the Bhagavā spoke thus:

“What, Bhikkhus, is the Noble Eightfold Path?

It is right view, right thought,

right speech, right action, right livelihood,

right effort, right awareness and right concentration.” …
