I installed the Pali Keyboard Layout as described in the directions. Now I need to know how to use the Pali Keyboard Layout to create documents in Pali. Which editor should I use and how do I use the Pali keyboard?

I figured it out. I can use the Keyboard Viewer and press the Option key to view the special characters. As editor, I can use Microsoft Word which displays the Pali characters.

Apologies for a very late response; we did not get notified for forum posts. I see you figured it out, but perhaps the following is useful too.
On a Mac in the menu/icon bar (at the top, right, where you find wifi, bluetooth, battery etc.), there is an icon for the keyboards. There you can choose to use Unicode when needing Pāli. See screenshot attached.
