Buddhasahassanāmāvalī

Verse 203

लाभालाभे यसायसे, 
सम्मान-अवमानने; 
सब्बत्थ समथप्पत्तो, 
बुद्धं तं पणमाम्यहं.

Lābhālābhe yasāyase,
Sammāna-avamānane;
Sabbattha samathappatto,
Buddhaṃ taṃ paṇamāmyahaṃ.

I bow to the Buddha,
In a state of mental calm and tranquillity,
He remained supremely indifferent toward the mundane dualities of gain and loss,
Of fame and disgrace, respect and contempt.
